Coming back in London I was worried because I had been panicked there before and being back in the space can be stressful. The trains weren’t running to my stop from King’s Cross/St. Pancras; an obstacle. But as I woke the next morning, the panic had subsided and I met the niece of the couple I was staying with. We decided to head out together and have hanging out with each other every day since. Yesterday, we headed to Regent’s park to relax and have a drink in and we came across some beautiful flowers. This trip, travelling and doing everything by myself has lead to a few lessons, which I will disperse through floral pictures.
I have learnt that moving stresses me out, and that the stress doesn’t subside until I have explored my area and feel more comfortable in my surroundings. My all time comfort food has to be a hot curry or noodle dish but since that is hard to travel with I make sure to pack 2 minute noodles for a quick snack when I reach my destination. I also always make sure to have water, snacks like maybe some muesli bars and definitely some music. I will do a proper post about my struggle with Misophonia later but music or a podcast really helps me remove myself from a triggering situation.
